Project Engineer (Solar PV)

What you will do

• Create AutoCAD layouts for solar power plants using NX tracker designs.
• Perform slope analysis and generate slope maps from site contours with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Prepare bills of material and structural part drawings.
• Use templates and drafting guidelines to create project layouts and drawings.
• Support utility-scale solar PV projects from development through construction.
• Collaborate with design engineers and structural engineers to develop project designs.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of CAD detailing experience in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD 2D commands or an equivalent CAD environment.
• Ability to prepare structural part drawings according to applicable standards.
• Knowledge of drafting and detailing standards.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Very good communication skills.

Nice to have

• BE, BTech, or BS degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Working-level knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Solar industry experience.
• Optional knowledge of PVSyst, L-Pile, or STAAD.Pro.
