Fullstack Software Engineer

Location: Hybrid in the United States, with availability to work from an office hub at least two days per week or eight days per month. US hubs include Austin, Chicago, New York City, San Francisco, and the Washington, DC metro area.

Salary: $194,000–$291,600 for Austin and Arlington/D.C.; $216,000–$324,000 for New York and San Francisco.

What you will do

• Architect automation tooling and self-service capabilities that reduce manual insight-generation work and support growth from dozens to hundreds of customers.
• Design data pipelines for session recordings, chat interactions, behavioral signals, and other structured and unstructured data.
• Build enterprise product experiences, APIs, and interfaces across frontend applications and backend services.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Data Science, and ML Engineering to operationalize models and signal-detection systems.
• Centralize data collection, transformation, reporting, and analytics practices using Snowflake, dbt, Looker, and related platforms.
• Build monitoring, data-quality, observability, containerized infrastructure, and cloud systems using Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and Terraform.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience, including experience in a startup or high-growth environment.
• Strong software engineering practices, including coding, unit testing, code reviews, design documentation, and collaborative reviews.
• Backend development experience with Ruby, Elixir, Python, Node, Go, or similar technologies.
• Frontend experience with JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience building data pipelines, ETL processes, or large-scale data-processing systems.
• Experience with structured and unstructured data plus analytics or BI platforms such as Snowflake, dbt, or Looker.

Nice to have

• ML model operationalization, MLOps, Airflow, internal tools, or self-service platform experience.
• Experience with Ruby, Elixir, Rails, EmberJS, data warehousing, or analytics infrastructure standardization.
• Experience with B2B SaaS products for enterprise customers or interest in organizational psychology, talent analytics, or HR technology.
