Product Lead (Fintech, LATAM)

Location: Hybrid role based in Bogota, Colombia; Mexico City, Mexico; or Sao Paulo, Brazil. Hybrid work includes time in the office, customer visits, and working from home; office presence is expected organically and may be required during ramp-up or by the leader.

What you will do

• Own product direction for a small, autonomous squad and define what to build, why it matters, and how success is measured.
• Drive product discovery, identify high-value problems, and align stakeholders across engineering, design, sales, and leadership.
• Prototype product ideas with AI coding tools before committing engineering resources.
• Contribute straightforward production changes such as copy, configuration, feature flags, and simple UI updates.
• Work with Git daily, read pull requests, and participate effectively in architectural discussions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product management, product engineering, product design, or a hybrid building role.
• Track record of shipping products that improved business metrics and experience building something in production.
• Ability to prototype working concepts with AI coding tools such as Cursor or Claude Code.
• Comfort with Git, code reviews, system architecture, SQL, dashboards, and experiment design.
• Strong product discovery, written communication, stakeholder management, and high-agency execution skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model from Bogota, Mexico City, or Sao Paulo.

Nice to have

• Computer science, engineering, or another technical degree.
• Ability to produce near-production-ready code for straightforward changes using AI tools.
• Experience building AI-powered products.
• Experience in fintech, enterprise, complex systems, or high-growth startups.
