Technical Accounting Analyst I (Reinsurance)

Location: Mexico City, Mexico; hybrid work with an expectation of being in the office three days per week

What you will do

• Analyze ceding company reports and reinsurance accounting information for accuracy.
• Interpret reinsurance contracts and verify accounts against contract wording and the validation framework.
• Process balances, monitor portfolio financials, and collect outstanding receivables.
• Ensure payments and financial transactions follow processes, guidelines, quality frameworks, and key controls.
• Resolve missing accounting information, incorrect data, payment delays, and other operational issues with internal partners and external clients.
• Achieve defined key performance indicators.

Requirements

• Understanding of reinsurance contracts and concepts, including more complex reinsurance agreements.
• Strong numerical skills and proficiency in Excel.
• Good written and verbal business communication skills.
• Ability to manage an independent workload and collaborate constructively in team and virtual environments.
• Advanced English is required.

• Experience with Power BI.
