Security Specialist

Location: McCarran, Nevada, United States; on-site night-shift work

hirify.global is building a localized battery supply chain through battery recovery, reuse, recycling, energy storage, and battery-material production in the United States.

What you will do

• Perform scheduled, routine, and random patrols of facilities and grounds.
• Monitor CCTV, access control, alarm, and life-safety systems, reporting irregularities.
• Control and document site access, including visitor processing, credential checks, and contractor verification.
• Respond to security, safety, medical, and operational incidents, escalating to supervisors or emergency services when required.
• Provide initial first aid, evacuation assistance, and scene control until relieved.
• Complete incident reports, activity logs, shift documentation, and equipment-readiness checks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of security operations, patrol procedures, access control, CCTV monitoring, alarm systems, and emergency response protocols.
• Ability to follow post orders, safety requirements, escalation protocols, and company policies in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, overtime, and extended hours.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and accurate report-writing ability.
• Ability to remain calm, assess conditions, make sound decisions, and stand or walk for extended periods while responding to incidents.

Nice to have

• Prior security, military, law enforcement, emergency response, or industrial security experience.
