Senior Data Engineer (C#, SQL, Analytics): Designing and optimizing scalable data pipelines, databases, and cloud data solutions with an accent on SQL Server, C#/.NET, ETL, reporting, and data governance. Focus on high-availability architectures, performance tuning, data quality, automated testing, and integrating cloud platforms and APIs.

What you will do
- Define requirements and develop new or upgraded data pipelines with business stakeholders.
- Design scalable, highly available technical solutions, databases, and data architectures.
- Develop, deploy, monitor, automate, and maintain software according to engineering standards.
- Optimize data pipeline performance and reduce operational costs.
- Ensure data quality, security, governance, GDPR zoning, and data catalog maintenance.
- Test, debug, validate, and document data solutions in collaboration with product stakeholders.
Requirements
- Hands-on software development experience in Agile environments.
- Experience with data technologies and management practices, including SQL, DBMS, BI, and analytics.
- Strong proficiency in SQL Server or equivalent database technologies, including performance monitoring and tuning.
- Solid experience with C#/.NET, reporting, ETL, and data warehousing.
- Ability to write clean, reliable unit tests.
- University degree in computer science, business studies, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
Nice to have
- Experience with API integration and external API implementation.
- Experience with SSIS, Azure Data Factory, or similar data integration tools.
- Experience with Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Splunk, or equivalent cloud data platforms.
- Knowledge of xUnit, NUnit, integration testing, performance testing, CI/CD, cloud deployment, or microservices architectures.
