What you will do
- Develop, implement, and maintain quantitative financial risk models and reporting tools in Python.
- Validate and improve model accuracy through sensitivity analysis, benchmarking, and stress testing.
- Monitor daily financial risk exposures, assess compliance with internal limits, and prepare reports for senior management.
- Align risk models and reporting tools with KWG, CRR, MaRisk, and EBA regulatory frameworks.
- Support ICAAP, ILAAP, and quantitative stress-testing activities.
- Optimize risk data pipelines and reporting scripts, while mentoring interns and providing technical guidance.
Requirements
- Degree in mathematics, statistics, quantitative finance, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in a comparable financial-services role.
- Strong financial-modelling skills using Excel or Google Sheets.
- Hands-on experience with Python and libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, or SciPy, and/or R for data analysis and statistical modelling.
- Strong risk-oriented analytical, communication, organisational, and prioritisation skills.
- Concise written and verbal English communication is required; German is advantageous.
