Implementation Consultant (Accounting Software)

Location: Mexico City; candidates within a reasonable commute to an office work onsite at least 3 days per week

What you will do

• Lead multiple concurrent implementation projects through milestones, within budget, scope, schedule, and customer satisfaction targets.
• Consult with mid-market clients to understand business needs and configure accounting software using best practices and relevant use cases.
• Manage project documentation, including billable hours, Salesforce records, expenses, risks, progress, expectations, and next steps.
• Train and advise clients, advocate for product functionality, and support user adoption.
• Troubleshoot application issues, recommend system improvements, and identify efficiency opportunities.
• Provide application feedback to the Product team to support future functionality improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in consulting services, client services, or a professional services environment.
• Demonstrated experience managing software implementation projects in a client-facing role.
• Knowledge of accounting terminology and processes, including the month-end close process.
• Knowledge of MS Office, MS Project, Salesforce, and accounting software.
• Strong communication, organization, technical problem-solving, critical thinking, client relationship, and project ownership skills.

Nice to have

• More than two years of experience in the audit or accounting industry.
• Software or technology background.
• Accounting degree or CPA qualification.
