Senior DevOps Engineer (SaaS)

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure and deployment architecture for backend, data, search, and AI workloads.
• Define Infrastructure as Code, reusable deployment patterns, and infrastructure standards across engineering teams.
• Automate provisioning, deployment, configuration, and upgrades across development, test, staging, and production environments.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, observability, monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting, and operational dashboards.
• Implement infrastructure security, secrets management, IAM, secure workload isolation, backup, recovery, and production-readiness practices.
• Partner with engineering and architecture teams on incident response, root-cause analysis, reliability, scalability, performance, and cloud cost optimization.

Requirements

• 6–9 years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or SRE.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and ownership of production cloud infrastructure at scale.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of cloud networking, load balancing, DNS, service discovery, storage, IAM/RBAC, secrets management, and least-privilege security.
• Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana, plus high availability, fault tolerance, disaster recovery, capacity planning, and autoscaling.
• Practical scripting and automation experience with Python, Bash, or an equivalent language, supporting enterprise SaaS, distributed, or data-intensive systems.

Nice to have

• FinOps, cloud cost monitoring, and resource optimization experience.
• SRE practices including SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, incident management, and capacity planning.
• Knowledge of NIST, FedRAMP, or SOC 2 compliance standards.
