Senior Software Engineer II - Java Fullstack (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications and services for healthcare products and platforms.
• Define complex system components, refine requirements, and translate business needs into technical solutions with architects, product managers, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Resolve complex issues across distributed systems and cloud environments while improving application reliability, performance, and data integrity.
• Work with complex data models, relational and NoSQL databases, event-driven architectures, APIs, authentication, and observability solutions.
• Promote coding standards, code reviews, TDD, CI/CD, automated deployments, progressive delivery, and other engineering best practices.
• Mentor and train less-experienced engineers and contribute to improvements in architecture, development practices, and engineering processes.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience and a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node, and React.
• Deep experience with microservices, Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, AWS services, Terraform, cloud architecture, scalability, performance optimization, and cost management.
• Advanced experience with CI/CD pipelines, trunk-based development, automated deployments, progressive delivery, API gateways, and OAuth/JWT-based authentication and authorization.
• Experience with observability tools, relational and NoSQL databases, Kafka, TDD, and automated quality gates.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, technical writing, communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills; experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code.
