Salary: $63,100–$78,875 per year, based on experience

What you will do

• Manage admitting, registration, and financial services operations at acute care locations.
• Oversee accurate medical record assignment, medical necessity and compliance checks, patient instructions, insurance information, physician orders, and customer service.
• Manage financial service representatives and ensure accurate cash handling, deposits, account posting, and financial logs.
• Plan staffing needs, coordinate schedules, prepare reports, and establish departmental performance goals.
• Analyze and communicate performance data, collaborate with internal and external customers, and support revenue cycle objectives.
• Train, educate, coach, and develop patient access staff, including performance interventions when needed.

Requirements

• Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) certification.
• Certified Healthcare Access Manager (CHAM) certification.
• 2–3 years of management experience in the healthcare industry.
• Experience with Microsoft applications and the ability to master multiple computer systems.
• Strong prioritization skills and the ability to manage numerous priorities.
• Advanced use of AI and experience managing teams that apply AI to process and technology improvements.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in healthcare management or administration.
• Patient access experience involving managed care, insurance, or call centers.
