Junior Frontend Developer Consultant (German speaking)

Location: Germany — remote, with travel for onsite client engagements required up to 50%

What you will do

• Design and develop web and mobile solutions using JavaScript, React, and hirify.global’s Jutro design system.
• Build single-page applications and customer-facing digital services for insurance clients.
• Collaborate with UX designers, senior engineers, project sponsors, and cross-functional teams.
• Support migration projects from AngularJS to React.
• Develop familiarity with CSS, SASS, automated unit testing, and server-side technologies such as JSON/RPC and REST.
• Travel for onsite client engagements as required, up to 50%.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of software development experience with web technologies.
• Working knowledge of React and experience building web or mobile services and single-page applications.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a willingness to learn.
• BA in Informatics or equivalent education.
• Strong German and English communication skills required.
• Experience with or willingness to learn hirify.global’s Jutro design system.

Nice to have

• Insurance industry or consulting experience.
• Additional backend, testing, or cloud skills.
• Experience with Figma, Invision, Sketch, or other UX prototyping tools.
