Principal Geneva Operations Specialist (Financial Technology)

Location: Hybrid role based in New York, NY, Boston, MA, or Jacksonville, FL

Base salary: $100,000–$160,000 in New York; $90,000–$180,000 in Massachusetts, plus potential discretionary bonus and/or equity awards.

What you will do

• Deliver middle- and back-office operational and onboarding services on Advent Geneva.
• Oversee daily operational processes and support platform optimization.
• Collaborate with internal teams, clients, counterparties, market data vendors, and other external stakeholders.
• Support concurrent operational and implementation projects.
• Communicate technical and operational concepts clearly to stakeholders with different levels of technical knowledge.
• Work across different shift patterns as business needs evolve.

Requirements

• 4–8 years of experience in financial services, hedge funds, or financial technology, specifically in middle- or back-office operations.
• Experience with technical integrations involving counterparties, market data vendors, and buy-side platforms.
• Strong understanding of instrument valuation across equities, options, futures, fixed income, credit, and foreign exchange.
• Knowledge of the full trade lifecycle, including pre-trade compliance, order generation, execution, confirmation, settlement, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Familiarity with Advent Geneva or similar PMS, IBOR, or ABOR platforms.
• Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills, with a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
