Technician

Location: Batu Kawan, Pulau Pinang (Penang), Malaysia; 11-hour rotating shift in Malaysia

What you will do

• Diagnose and resolve issues involving protocols, equipment, products, systems hardware, and software.
• Improve system performance to meet process requirements and reduce repetitive downtime.
• Develop test programs and procedures for emerging technologies.
• Provide provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance support.
• Act as a technical resource and escalation point while coordinating departmental work and mentoring team members.
• Identify improvement opportunities and support business controls through review, analysis, and verification.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, Higher Secondary education, equivalent work experience, or demonstrated competence.
• Typically 4–6 years of related work experience, preferably in equipment operation and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of automation, data analysis, process improvement, technical support, workflow management, and supply chain processes.
• Working knowledge of SQL and SAP applications.
• Effective communication, results orientation, learning agility, digital fluency, and customer centricity.
