Lead / Senior Software Engineer (Go/AI): Building scalable Enterprise Asset Management software and integrating production AI capabilities into cloud-native enterprise products with an accent on distributed systems, domain-driven design, and LLM-powered applications. Focus on designing microservices and agentic workflows, evaluating AI features for reliability and security, and leading technical initiatives that deliver measurable customer value.
Location: London, England, United Kingdom; hybrid work opportunities are available.

What you will do
- Design, build, and evolve scalable Enterprise Asset Management software.
- Develop distributed systems, microservices, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native applications.
- Integrate LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation, tool calling, and agentic workflows into production products where they create customer value.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Engineering, and business stakeholders to solve complex operational challenges.
- Lead technical initiatives, mentor engineers, and drive engineering quality, security, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Lead or senior-level software engineering experience, with at least 6 years in a similar role and a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
- Strong hands-on experience with Go and modern backend development; TypeScript and Node are beneficial alongside it.
- Experience with distributed systems, microservices, RESTful APIs, Domain-Driven Design, bounded contexts, event-driven architecture, and service decomposition.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Kafka or Redpanda, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, AWS and/or Azure, CI/CD, automated testing, observability, and production operations.
- Hands-on experience designing, building, and shipping production AI applications using LLMs to solve real customer or business problems.
- Knowledge of RAG, tool calling, prompt engineering, agentic workflows, AI evaluation, secure software, authentication, authorization, and DevSecOps.
Nice to have
- React and modern frontend development experience.
- Experience with Enterprise SaaS or ERP products.
- Experience with Model Context Protocol, vector databases, AI observability, or AI evaluation frameworks.
- Experience delivering enterprise-scale AI platforms or AI-powered products.
