Senior Infrastructure Engineer (AI)

Salary: $120,000–$200,000 per year, plus equity and bonus

What you will do

• Design and build scalable distributed systems with Kubernetes for high-volume, real-time voice processing.
• Develop and optimize ML infrastructure, including training pipelines and real-time inference serving across multiple regions.
• Integrate the platform with enterprise telephony systems, SIP trunks, and VoIP infrastructure.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, incident response, and reliability systems for 24/7 enterprise-grade uptime.
• Anticipate and solve infrastructure scaling challenges as call volumes grow.
• Implement security best practices and compliance requirements for regulated enterprise customers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and scaling distributed systems.
• Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure; AWS or GCP preferred.
• Experience with high-throughput, low-latency workloads, streaming, real-time processing, or similar systems.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure fundamentals, including TLS and load-balancing strategies.
• Experience at fast-growing companies and the ability to work across multiple areas.
• Familiarity with Cloudflare, HAProxy, Go, TypeScript, Datadog, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and Nvidia hardware.

Nice to have

• Experience with telephony systems such as SIP, VoIP, or WebRTC.
• Background in ML infrastructure, model serving, or GPU computing.
• Experience with real-time audio or video processing.
