What you will do

• Develop next-generation multimodal LLM stacks combining speech, text, and real-time reasoning.
• Build and deploy conversational AI models from initial research to production.
• Integrate streaming audio, tool execution, and dynamic context into a unified system.
• Design and execute rapid experiments to iterate on model performance.
• Translate abstract modeling concepts into user-facing improvements for agent interactions.

Requirements

• Strong background in LLMs, multimodal models, or speech-language systems.
• Deep understanding of prompting, fine-tuning, and alignment techniques.
• Experience with neural audio codecs and modern multimodal LLM architectures.
• Ability to manage the full lifecycle from idea to production deployment.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with real-time voice systems or conversational AI.
• Background in tool-using agents or agent frameworks.
• Experience working with multimodal datasets (audio, text, and actions).
• Contributions to LLM or speech-related research or open source projects.
