What you will do

• Shape hirify.global’s Asia vision, editorial strategy, and products with company leaders.
• Recruit and build an Asia-based reporting team.
• Develop Asia briefings and products for readers, viewers, and listeners.
• Lead coverage of trade, technology, capital flows, energy, business, politics, policy, and regional power dynamics.
• Write major stories, pursue scoops and interviews, and anchor coverage across digital platforms and live journalism.
• Moderate events, make media appearances, and collaborate with the global newsroom and audience teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years of journalism experience, including relevant experience covering Asia.
• Track record of newsroom leadership and team management.
• Experience and interest in global financial and business journalism.
• Strong ability to identify cross-border themes, respond quickly to major news, and produce insightful writing.
• Experience working with diverse teams and the ability to work independently with initiative, flexibility, diligence, and reliability.
• Ability to think strategically about story distribution and audiences across multiple media formats and platforms.
