Associate, Sales & Trading (Fintech): Guiding buyers and sellers through secondary transactions in venture-backed, pre-IPO companies with an accent on client relationships, market insights, and compliant transaction execution. Focus on sourcing and qualifying clients, reviewing transaction documentation, coordinating operational and legal workflows, and maintaining accuracy across a high-volume pipeline.
Location: On-site in Vancouver, BC, Canada
Total compensation: CA$120K–CA$240K annually, including potential base salary, variable bonus, and equity.

What you will do
- Serve as the first point of contact for buyers and sellers, guiding clients through the platform and secondary market.
- Provide clear market insights and support clients from onboarding and initial inquiry through execution and closing.
- Review transaction documentation and platform data to maintain accuracy and meet legal, compliance, and operational requirements.
- Work with operations, legal, and internal stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and deliver timely closings.
- Source and qualify new clients through outreach, referrals, and platform activity.
- Track pipeline activity and transaction metrics while providing customer support throughout the client journey.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in institutional sales or trading, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, investor relations, business development, or investment sales.
- Experience prospecting and generating leads in a high-volume outreach environment.
- Strong relationship-management, organization, prioritization, and operational-detail skills.
- Strong financial acumen or the ability to quickly master complex market dynamics.
- FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses, or the ability to obtain them shortly after joining.
