Lead Machine Learning Engineer

Location: Remote from Poland, Romania, Austria, or Croatia

What you will do

• Lead large-scale machine learning projects and products from initial design through implementation, deployment, and maintenance.
• Make architectural decisions for scalable, efficient, and maintainable ML solutions.
• Design and implement advanced machine learning pipelines and models serving millions of users.
• Set technical standards and lead the development of scalable, testable, high-performance applications.
• Collaborate across machine learning and engineering teams, drive technical decisions, and mentor ML engineers.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience building and maintaining large-scale production machine learning systems.
• Expertise in machine learning algorithms, productionizing ML models, and scaling systems for large data volumes.
• Experience owning or significantly contributing to products used by tens of thousands of customers.
• Experience with Kubernetes, containerization, microservice design, and distributed systems.
• Ability to lead technical discussions, set standards, communicate complex topics, and define innovative solutions to research problems.
