Machine Learning Engineer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Design, build, train, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models for robotic manufacturing processes.
• Collect, clean, label, and organize raw data into high-quality training and evaluation datasets.
• Develop and maintain scalable ML pipelines and cloud infrastructure, primarily using Microsoft Azure.
• Use Databricks and Apache Spark for large-scale data processing and model development.
• Integrate ML solutions into production workflows with robotics, software, and manufacturing engineers.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field with 6+ years of hands-on ML and AI experience, or a relevant Ph.D. with 3+ years of experience.
• Strong experience designing, training, testing, and deploying machine learning models end-to-end.
• Experience working with raw, unstructured, or incomplete data, including data collection, cleaning, labeling, and dataset construction.
• Production-quality Python skills for ML development, data processing, and scripting.
• Experience with cloud computing services, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Databricks and Apache Spark for data engineering and model development.

Nice to have

• Machine learning experience in CAD and computational geometry.
• Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Experience with robotics, including robotic perception, control, or planning.
