Senior Software Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Code, test, troubleshoot, and optimize software programs using appropriate hardware, databases, and programming technologies.
• Review code and environment changes to identify and minimize negative impacts on system performance.
• Build reusable components, templates, code, and libraries.
• Translate squad-provided solutions and designs into optimized code based on requirements.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, build and release, database, and related teams to deploy code efficiently to production.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of software development experience and a technical background with the ability to read and write source code across multiple languages.
• Experience with Java, MySQL, Apache, NGINX, HAProxy, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Strong foundations in computer science, data structures, algorithms, and software design optimized for embedded systems.
• Experience developing integrations with third-party APIs and web services, including REST and SOAP/WSDL.
• Experience with cloud and on-premise server environments and integration technologies.
• Experience with AWS, SES, SMTP, Linux, Cron, Apache Spark, and Hadoop.

Nice to have

• Exposure to DevOps tools such as Docker.
• Experience automating deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications with Kubernetes.
