What you will do

  • Resolve equipment and process issues on the fab floor and support equipment performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement for throughput, cost reduction, and yield learning.
  • Define and maintain equipment installation qualification and installation roadmaps.
  • Support equipment planning, selection, configuration, installation, startup, and volume ramp.
  • Design, execute, and analyze experiments to optimize equipment performance, yield, reliability, process stability, and cost of ownership.
  • Collaborate with integration and process engineering teams on next-generation technology development and technology transfer.

Requirements

  • Junior-level student at the time of application, actively pursuing an accredited bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • At least a 3.0 overall GPA and good academic standing.
  • English fluency required for written and verbal communication.
  • Mechanically inclined, with the ability to lead hands-on troubleshooting and understand complex systems.
  • Available to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.
  • Available for up to 10% travel and able to support Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security requirements.

Nice to have

  • Prior related internship or co-op experience.
  • Project management, planning, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, Statistical Process Control, and Design of Experiments.
  • Experience working effectively with diverse teams, customers, and internal or external partners.
