2027 Engineer Development Rotation Program - Systems Engineer I New College Grad - BS or MS (Gloucester, MA)

Location: Gloucester, MA; on-site at the Gloucester campus starting in summer 2027. Travel required approximately 10% of the time.

Salary: $78,500–$108,000 per year.

What you will do

• Write system engineering specifications for the relevant technical area.
• Work on multidisciplinary systems combining electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithms, and software design.
• Test new designs, provide feedback to product engineering and software teams, and troubleshoot engineering issues.
• Collaborate with System Integration during product assembly and final testing.
• Evaluate reliability, safety, usability, maintainability, serviceability, and manufacturability of hardware and software designs.
• Review external equipment interfaces, analyze architecture concepts, and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

• Graduating with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Good academic standing; a GPA above 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is preferred.
• Ability to solve complex problems and take a new perspective on existing solutions.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on analysis of multiple sources of information.
• Ability to explain difficult or sensitive information and build consensus.
• Flexible and adaptable mindset suited to a results-driven culture.

Nice to have

• Previous internship or related experience in the field.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in associations.
