Senior Security Engineer (AI)

Location: France, remote with occasional presence in Paris

What you will do

• Review architectures, designs, implementations, platform changes, and cloud initiatives for security risks.
• Support threat modeling and secure-by-design practices across APIs, services, data flows, workloads, and platform components.
• Advise engineering teams on application security, cloud and infrastructure security, and secure software supply chain practices.
• Assess security risks in AI-enabled products and internal AI usage, including model, pipeline, data-flow, integration, data-exposure, and vendor considerations.
• Translate attack paths and technical risks into practical remediation priorities and actionable guidance.
• Improve security tooling through dashboards, workflows, integrations, posture insights, and remediation automation.

Requirements

• 7+ years of technical security experience across application security, cloud and infrastructure security, and secure software supply chain.
• Experience in a SaaS or internet-scale product environment.
• Hands-on experience reviewing designs, challenging assumptions, supporting remediation, and improving engineering workflows.
• Ability to assess practical impact and likelihood, identify meaningful risks, and respond to incidents, emerging threats, and complex remediations.
• French and English proficiency required; English is the working language.
• Ability to work remotely from France with occasional presence in Paris.

Nice to have

• Experience with SOC 2 Type II and third-party risk management in a SaaS environment.
• Experience with Vanta or similar GRC automation platforms.
• Familiarity with AI governance and the security implications of AI tooling.
