Senior Machine Learning Engineer, Computer Vision

Location: Seattle, Washington, United States; on-site at least four days per week

Base salary: $150,000–$200,000 annually

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy computer vision models for object detection, tracking, OCR, image search, and scene understanding.
• Build and optimize deep learning and recommendation models for accuracy, performance, scalability, and production deployment.
• Integrate visual, textual, and other modalities into robust multimodal solutions.
• Build scalable pipelines for data processing, model training, and deployment, collaborating with data and software engineers.
• Optimize models for cloud, CPU, GPU, mobile, and edge platforms; conduct experiments and A/B tests.
• Mentor junior engineers and write clean, maintainable code following software and machine learning best practices.

Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on machine learning and computer vision experience, including production model deployment.
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNX, or TensorRT.
• Experience with model optimization techniques including quantization and pruning, and deployment across cloud or edge platforms.
• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure; Docker; ECS or Kubernetes; Airflow; and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical information clearly.

• Experience with C++.
