Technician 2, Manufacturing Equipment

Location: Bayan Lepas, Malaysia; onsite manufacturing facility

What you will do

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and support equipment utilization.
• Handle equipment form factor conversion, setup, buy-off, and propagation of new installations.
• Participate in equipment improvement projects coordinated by engineers.
• Troubleshoot major equipment issues and manage spare-parts inventory.
• Train production operators and contract workers on standard operating procedures.
• Support yield sustaining, new process evaluation, documentation updates, and safety compliance.

Requirements

• Diploma in any engineering discipline.
• Fresh graduates and candidates with up to 3 years of experience are preferred.
• Good command of English.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Basic understanding of control systems.
• Ability to work with manufacturing equipment and follow safety and health rules.

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge of PLCs and machine programming languages.
• Experience with CAD or computer programming languages such as Python or C++.
