Lead Solution Architect (C#/.NET)

What you will do

• Own the architecture, technical direction, modernization, operation, security, and continuous improvement of a mission-critical enterprise application platform.
• Lead modernization from legacy VB.NET technologies to C#, .NET 10, and Blazor-based architecture.
• Lead, mentor, and develop application engineers while managing prioritization, sprint planning, releases, and resource allocation.
• Oversee platform reliability across AWS, Azure, and on-premises environments, including performance, disaster recovery, deployment, and production support.
• Govern enterprise integrations, approval workflows, notifications, email communications, and business automation capabilities.
• Identify and implement AI, automation, observability, and operational efficiency improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of software engineering and application development experience, including 5+ years in technical leadership, architecture, or engineering management.
• Strong experience with .NET, C#, ASP.NET, modern web application frameworks, enterprise architecture, and relational databases.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, SDLC, Agile methodologies, CI/CD, DevOps, production operations, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and root cause analysis.
• Experience managing application security, authentication, authorization, vulnerability remediation, and enterprise integrations.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and software development team leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Blazor, .NET 10, microservices, cloud-native modernization, Microsoft Entra ID, and FusionAuth.
• Knowledge of application performance monitoring, observability, and platform engineering.
• Experience with AI/ML integration, Generative AI, intelligent automation, globally distributed environments, or multi-region deployments.
• Relevant cloud, architecture, security, or software development certifications and an advanced degree.
