Security Lead (Plano)

Location: Plano, TX; onsite in the office 5 days per week. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

Salary: $27–$30 per hour

What you will do

• Secure premises and personnel through patrols, surveillance monitoring, building inspections, and access control.
• Serve as the lead security contact and coordinate daily team operations, shift coverage, and incident response.
• Support security training and ensure compliance with SOPs, site-specific protocols, and legal requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, irregularities, and surveillance activities in detailed reports.
• Respond to emergencies, make timely decisions under pressure, and provide assistance to employees and customers.
• Help prevent loss, damage, theft, and unauthorized access while protecting the company’s reputation.

Requirements

• Valid Non-Commissioned Security Officer License, Level II.
• Valid driver’s license.
• At least three years of security experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Prior experience as a Security Lead or Supervisor, including team guidance, delegation, and enforcement of security protocols.
• Clear written and verbal communication, active listening, logical reasoning, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of Google Suite programs and the ability to perform physical duties including extended walking or standing and lifting 75+ pounds with assistance or proper equipment.
