Security Engineering Lead (AI)

Location: London (Hybrid) or UK (Remote)

What you will do

• Build and lead the Product Security function across application security and security operations.
• Secure a large-scale, multi-tenant SaaS platform and sensitive customer data.
• Partner with Engineering Leadership to embed security by design.
• Assess and mitigate attack vectors introduced by AI-driven product features and AI-assisted software development.
• Lead production security incident response, including root-cause analysis, remediation, cleanup, and corrective actions.
• Recruit, retain, and develop Security Engineers and SecOps practitioners.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of application security in a high-scale, multi-tenant SaaS environment.
• Knowledge of tools and techniques for preventing, detecting, and remediating SaaS application security issues.
• Ability to build effective, scalable, and cost-efficient security programs.
• Advanced incident response skills across the full incident lifecycle.
• Ability to recruit, retain, mentor, and develop a high-quality information security team.

Nice to have

• Experience running an application security program in a high-scale, multi-tenant SaaS environment.
• Experience hiring and managing Security Engineers and working with cross-functional partners.
• Experience with security certification and recertification programs.
• Project or program management experience.
• Software engineering or systems administration background.
