Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid work from the NYC office in Manhattan, United States

Salary: $145,000–$170,000 per year, plus equity

hirify.global is a Series B fintech company building an AI-native platform for independent financial advisors and wealth management.

What you will do

• Build and ship product features and platform improvements across advisor-facing interfaces, APIs, pipelines, and services.
• Use AI development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex to improve engineering speed and code quality.
• Own the full development lifecycle, from scoping and implementation through production release and iteration.
• Write readable, maintainable, production-grade code with disciplined testing.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Data, and business stakeholders to define scope and deliver impactful outcomes.
• Work directly with financial advisors to understand their workflows and needs.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Active daily use of AI-assisted development tools, including Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or similar.
• Experience building and shipping web applications with measurable business impact.
• Solid full-stack understanding and comfort working across frontend and backend systems.
• Experience or willingness to work with Next.js, React, Rails, PostgreSQL, and GraphQL.
• Clear communication and effective cross-functional collaboration in a fast-moving startup environment.

Nice to have

• Experience shipping customer-used AI features such as LLM-powered workflows, automation, summarization, extraction, or copilot interactions.
• Knowledge of LLM APIs, prompt engineering, retrieval patterns, or evaluation frameworks.
• Fintech or wealth management experience, including regulatory compliance or financial data integrations.
• Familiarity with vector databases and embedding pipelines such as Pinecone, pgvector, or Weaviate.
• Experience with macOS toolchains, CI/CD, AWS or GCP, and observability platforms such as Datadog.
