What you will do

• Embed with engineering teams to identify workflow bottlenecks and build AI tools that accelerate critical-path engineering work.
• Develop tooling that enables engineers to run complex safety and physics analyses before design reviews.
• Automate legacy simulation workflows so engineers can run neutronics analyses through configuration files.
• Integrate AI agents with internal ticketing, design-tree, and file-management tools for automated triage, routing, and prioritization.
• Prototype and ship solutions proactively without waiting for detailed specifications or roadmaps.

Requirements

• BS or higher in engineering, physics, chemistry, applied mathematics, or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in Python and software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience building tools or workflows with LLMs, AI agents, or modern AI techniques.
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends when necessary.
• Ability to learn technical domains such as neutronics, integrated safety, data, and manufacturing quickly.

Nice to have

• Background in physics, chemistry, mechanical, electrical, nuclear engineering, or mathematics.
• Experience with RAG and tool-use architectures.
• Experience building production-grade Python software.
