Principal Attorney Commercial Agreements (Semiconductor)

Location: Richardson, Texas, USA; office work required. Occasional travel of up to 10% is required, including possible international travel.

Salary: $130,000–$227,000 per year, depending on qualifications, experience, and location.

What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex and strategically significant commercial and sales agreements.
• Lead high-value customer transactions and drive deals to closure with internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop negotiation and resolution strategies based on business objectives, applicable law, risk analysis, and financial analysis.
• Advise business functions on contract terms, legal requirements, risk mitigation, and issue resolution.
• Provide guidance and management direction to attorneys, paralegals, and contracts professionals.
• Support environmental, health, safety, and security requirements and perform other relevant duties.

Requirements

• J.D., LLB, or equivalent law degree.
• 10+ years of experience in sophisticated commercial transactions at a law firm or comparable corporate environment.
• Excellent contract drafting, negotiation, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional and geographically diverse teams.
• Fluency in written and verbal English.
• Ability to work in an office setting in Richardson, Texas, with travel of up to 10%.
