Senior Legal Counsel, Partnerships (AECO)

Location: Lake Oswego, Oregon, or Westminster, Colorado; hybrid with 4 days per week in-office. Travel required: less than 10%.

Salary: $144,600–$198,800 per year, plus bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Serve as the strategic owner and lead counsel for AECO marketplace, developer, reseller, and sales channel partner programs.
• Set legal policies and direction for global technology partnership initiatives.
• Build scalable legal infrastructure, including playbooks, self-serve terms, and contract templates.
• Advise business leaders on legal and commercial risks across global channel and partner structures.
• Partner with program leadership to accelerate deal execution and coordinate cross-functional strategy.
• Provide senior-level legal support on general commercial matters.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience drafting and negotiating complex technology, channel, reseller, developer, or marketplace agreements.
• Juris Doctor degree and active state bar membership in good standing.
• Business-first approach focused on commercial enablement and pragmatic problem-solving.
• Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Sound executive judgment and ability to advise senior business leaders.
• Ability to work from the Lake Oswego or Westminster office 4 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with channel economics, including revenue sharing, referral fees, and MDF structures.
• Familiarity with antitrust and competition compliance requirements.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools to improve legal efficiency.
