What you will do

• Design and document distributed systems and microservices for the Ring backend.
• Implement robust, maintainable code with comprehensive documentation.
• Deliver customer value iteratively to achieve long-term roadmap goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers and product managers.
• Implement test automation using unit and integration testing.
• Leverage generative AI tools to enhance development productivity and code quality.

Requirements

• Professional software development experience (non-internship).
• Experience designing and architecting systems for reliability and scaling.
• Proficiency in a modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design.
• Proven ability to contribute to the architecture of new and existing systems.
