TL;DR
EHS Manager (Aerospace Manufacturing): Driving safety standards and developing environmental, health, and safety programs for composite component and tooling manufacturing with an accent on OSHA compliance, hazard analysis, and operational safety. Focus on building LOTO and emergency action programs, investigating incidents through root cause analysis, and leading safety training and compliance across manufacturing sites.
Location: Rock Hill, South Carolina, United States; travel between two sites as needed

What you will do
- Develop a safety culture and integrate safety principles into operational activities with the management team.
- Create and maintain Job Hazard Analyses for manufacturing operations and processes.
- Build and lead the Lockout/Tagout program, including machine-specific procedures, training, and compliance audits.
- Develop Emergency Action Plans and conduct required monthly safety training.
- Manage safety equipment inventory and serve as the primary contact for OSHA and other regulatory entities.
- Maintain OSHA 300 logs, investigate incidents and near misses, perform root cause analysis, and report plant-wide safety metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 8 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment, including at least 3 years in a leadership position.
- Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA requirements, and applicable EHS standards.
- Ability to travel between two sites as needed.
Nice to have
- Certified Safety Professional certification or an equivalent professional credential.
- OSHA 511 certification.
- Experience with lean manufacturing and problem-solving.
- Experience with multi-site operations.
- Experience in aerospace manufacturing.
