Pre Filled Syringe Process Engineering Intern

Location: Waterford, Ireland; full-time, on-site; start date January 2027; duration 6–8 months.

What you will do

• Support process engineering activities across pre-filled syringe manufacturing operations.
• Assist engineering and maintenance teams with process improvements that enhance efficiency, quality, and reliability.
• Participate in new product introduction, capacity expansion, and component implementation projects.
• Collect, analyse, and interpret manufacturing data to support process performance and decision-making.
• Help investigate process issues, support problem-solving, and contribute to corrective actions.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, protocols, and presentations in line with quality and compliance requirements while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Currently in the second or third year of a degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or a related Engineering discipline.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
