Technical Commodity Manager (Electronic Components)

Location: Irvine, California, USA; onsite at the Irvine office. A secondary office location is listed in Milpitas, California.

Salary: $109,600–$186,400 per year.

What you will do

• Develop sourcing strategies for new product introduction phases across hirify.global Flash products.
• Coordinate with procurement, design engineering, commodity management, and other stakeholders.
• Review product BOMs, propose second sources or component replacements, and drive technical qualification.
• Support supplier and technology selection with technical expertise.
• Verify that suppliers and components meet technical, quality, and green policy requirements.
• Review supplier technology roadmaps and monitor alignment with hirify.global requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or Science, or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years of professional experience with electronic components and ICs.
• Experience in technical commodity management, product development, quality management, or field application engineering.
• Strong project management, organizational, analytical, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and present strategies and performance metrics to all management levels.
• Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

• Hardware design experience.
