Staff Firmware Engineer (NVIDIA Ecosystem)

What you will do

• Integrate and validate hirify.global security solutions with high-performance NVIDIA-based server systems.
• Diagnose and resolve failures in NVIDIA NVSSVT and NVRAS suites, including stress tests, diagnostics, and system benchmarks.
• Implement and tune MCTP and PLDM over PCIe, SMBus, and USB for communication with NVIDIA NVSwitch and GPU components.
• Develop NVIDIA RAS features to support predictable behavior during hardware and firmware errors.
• Develop and optimize OpenBMC-based firmware for NVIDIA GPU management.
• Collaborate with system teams on schematics, NVIDIA Fabric Manager, and GPU software stack integration.

Requirements

• 5+ years of firmware engineering experience, particularly in BMC or server manageability.
• Direct experience with NVIDIA GPU deployment tools, XID error debugging, and NVLink topology validation.
• High proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems and Python or Shell for automation and validation scripts.
• In-depth knowledge of IPMI 2.0, Redfish, MCTP, and PLDM.
• BS/MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with NVIDIA Fabric Manager and high-availability modes in DGX/HGX systems.
• Familiarity with Root of Trust and Secure Boot mechanisms.
• Experience achieving NVSSVT compliance for BIOS or BMC vendors.
