Software Engineer (Fullstack)

Location: On-site in Pittsburgh, United States

Salary: $180,000–$220,000 per year, plus performance-based bonus and equity

What you will do

• Design and develop web applications using modern frontend frameworks such as Svelte.
• Build intuitive user interfaces and integrate AI experiences into products.
• Develop and maintain backend APIs using tools such as FastAPI.
• Manage and optimize SQL or NoSQL databases, including MongoDB.
• Collaborate with the ML research team to turn ideas into production-ready products.
• Debug and improve systems across the browser, backend, and database layers.

Requirements

• Full-stack software engineering experience with the ability to own work end to end.
• Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript and experience with React, Vue, or Svelte.
• Solid understanding of HTML and CSS.
• Hands-on experience building backend APIs.
• Knowledge of SQL or NoSQL database systems; MongoDB experience is a plus.
• Ability to work on-site in the Pittsburgh office.

Nice to have

• SvelteKit experience and Python proficiency.
• Experience creating AI-driven applications and exposure to AI/ML frameworks.
• Experience deploying and scaling applications on AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, secure coding, and web application vulnerability mitigation.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest or Playwright, plus an active portfolio or open-source contributions.
