What you will do

• Own the supplier quality strategy for the optical transceiver product roadmap across the full product lifecycle.
• Lead supplier qualification, manufacturing capability assessments, process audits, readiness evaluations, and improvement roadmaps.
• Partner with engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, reliability, operations, and program management teams on supplier selection and capability development.
• Lead supplier process qualification, First Article Inspection, process validation, DFM/DFX activities, and production readiness for NPI programs.
• Support production ramps, supplier and manufacturing transfers, localization projects, and capacity expansion.
• Drive supplier risk mitigation, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, quality reviews, and technical escalations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in optical, electrical, electronics, physics, mechanical engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 8 years of experience in supplier quality, manufacturing quality, product quality, or quality engineering in a high-technology manufacturing environment.
• Technical understanding of optical transceiver architecture, including high-speed electronics, optical engines, laser assemblies, photonic components, PCBAs, and final module integration.
• Experience with silicon photonics, co-packaged optics, advanced optical packaging, photonic integration, and optical transceiver or high-speed communications products.
• Knowledge of high-speed electrical systems, signal integrity, PCBA manufacturing, SMT assembly, PCB fabrication, component qualification, supplier qualification, NPI, process validation, and manufacturing ramp.
• Strong communication, project management, leadership, and cross-functional influence skills; willingness to travel domestically and internationally approximately 20–30%.
