Security Specialist II

hirify.global is localizing the global battery supply chain through battery recovery, reuse, recycling, energy storage, and battery materials production in the United States.

What you will do

• Perform scheduled, routine, and random patrols of facilities and grounds.
• Monitor CCTV, access control, alarms, and life-safety systems, reporting irregularities.
• Control and document site access, including visitor processing, credential checks, and contractor verification.
• Respond to security, safety, medical, and operational incidents according to procedures and escalation protocols.
• Provide initial first aid, evacuation assistance, and scene control until relieved.
• Complete incident reports, activity logs, shift documentation, and equipment accountability records.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Working knowledge of security operations, patrol procedures, access control, CCTV monitoring, alarm systems, and emergency response protocols.
• Ability to follow post orders, safety requirements, company policies, and escalation procedures in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Ability to assess incidents, remain calm under pressure, and make sound decisions.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, including accurate report writing and shift handoffs.
• Ability to stand, walk, patrol, and respond to incidents for extended periods.

Nice to have

• Prior security, military, law enforcement, emergency response, or industrial security experience.
