Cyber Security Analyst

Location: US-based remote

hirify.global provides real-time bot and agent trust management, analyzing web, application, API, and MCP traffic to detect and block fraud and malicious activity.

What you will do

• Provide tier 2 and tier 3 customer support and analyze historical attacks.
• Collaborate with threat researchers and data scientists to challenge and optimize the real-time detection engine.
• Analyze web traffic datasets spanning more than 100 billion documents to identify and block malicious traffic.
• Create automation scripts to detect outliers in global traffic.
• Identify potential attacks and add new alerts to the detection platform.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• At least two years of similar experience.
• Experience with at least one scripting language, preferably Python, for analysis and detection automation.
• Strong interest in data, security, and automated attack mitigation.
• Expertise in network or web infrastructure, including HTML, HTTP, CDN, DNS, IPv4/IPv6, and cookies.
• Proficiency with at least one database language or technology, such as MySQL, NoSQL, or Elasticsearch.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing bots as a personal project.
• Experience with Kibana.
