Senior Software Engineer – Infinia L4

Location: On-site at the Pune office, India

What you will do

• Own critical customer escalations from investigation through root cause analysis and mitigation.
• Act as a technical escalation point for production-impacting Infinia incidents.
• Lead war rooms, live incident bridges, and cross-functional responses with Engineering, QA, and Field teams.
• Investigate Infinia internals, reproduce complex issues, and recommend product improvements or workarounds.
• Create runbooks, performance-tuning guides, and root cause analysis documentation.
• Use AI-powered debugging, log analysis, automation, and self-healing support mechanisms to improve resolution speed and product reliability.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise storage, distributed systems, or cloud infrastructure support or engineering.
• Deep knowledge of file systems and storage technologies, including S3, POSIX, and NFS.
• Strong understanding of storage performance and Linux kernel internals, with hands-on Linux troubleshooting experience.
• Programming and scripting experience with Python, Go, and C++.
• System-, protocol-, and application-level debugging skills using tools such as strace, tcpdump, and perf.
• Experience with RDMA, NVMe-oF, or high-performance networking stacks, plus strong communication and executive reporting skills.
