Data Scientist (AI)

Salary: €120,000–€160,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Train, test, and ship models powering recommendations that improve customer visibility in AI search.
• Develop algorithms to analyze consumer search behavior, predict emerging questions, and identify relevant topics.
• Bring research models into production in partnership with engineering.
• Use existing data pipelines and infrastructure to run experiments and validate research at scale.
• Support autonomous agentic systems that collect, verify, and structure information from across the web.
• Work with web-scale data, including crawlers, clickstream data, URLs, keywords, and user behavior signals.

Requirements

• Strong statistical and quantitative foundations, including statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, causal inference, or Bayesian methods.
• Deep curiosity about LLMs and the ability to reverse-engineer AI search behavior into actionable product features.
• Experience taking projects from research through production and solving ambiguous, evolving problems.
• Familiarity with NLP techniques such as ranking models, text classification, embeddings, or information retrieval.
• Experience with Python and SQL, plus strong communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts.
• On-site work in Berlin is required.
