What you will do
- Collaborate with development teams to bring machine learning systems into production.
- Design and train models on large-scale clinical datasets.
- Integrate LLMs, ASR, RAG, embeddings, and related AI solutions into medical workflows.
- Evaluate, benchmark, and fine-tune models for clinical use cases.
- Explore federated machine learning for privacy-preserving training.
- Build reliable, high-performance ML pipelines using high-performance computing infrastructure.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in informatics, computer science, or a related field.
- Strong coding skills, especially in Python.
- Experience with PyTorch, Hugging Face, LangChain, Pydantic, LLMs, ASR models, RAG pipelines, or vector databases such as Qdrant.
- Fluency in English required; German is a plus.
- GitHub contributions.
- Interest in applying emerging technologies to real-world clinical challenges.
Nice to have
- Publications at top conferences or demonstrated cutting-edge results in applied machine learning, such as speech recognition or NLP.
- German language skills.
