What you will do
- Collaborate with the core development team to bring machine learning systems into production.
- Support the design and training of ML models on large-scale clinical datasets.
- Integrate LLM, ASR, RAG, embedding, and other AI solutions into medical workflows.
- Evaluate, benchmark, and fine-tune existing models for clinical use cases.
- Explore federated machine learning frameworks for privacy-preserving training.
- Improve the reliability, performance, and quality of production AI features while building robust ML pipelines with high-performance computing infrastructure.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong coding background, especially in Python.
- Exposure to PyTorch, Hugging Face, LangChain, Pydantic, LLMs, ASR models, RAG pipelines, or vector databases such as Qdrant.
- Fluency in English is required.
- GitHub contributions.
Nice to have
- German language skills.
- Publications at top conferences or demonstrated cutting-edge results in applied ML, such as speech recognition or NLP.
