Growth Engineer (React)

Location: On-site in New York City at the SoHo office

Salary: $175,000–$200,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Develop full-stack features and growth experiments across a two-sided marketplace to improve user acquisition, retention, and engagement.
• Collaborate with Product, UXR, and Data to turn hypotheses into iterative, high-impact tests.
• Build scalable tracking systems that generate actionable insights for cross-functional stakeholders.
• Implement feature gating, A/B testing, and experiments using platforms such as StatSig and LaunchDarkly.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to engineering knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience leading complex technical projects with significant business impact.
• Proficiency with full-stack technologies such as React, React Native, TypeScript, and AWS or similar cloud providers.
• Experience with either mobile application development or backend systems.
• Strong understanding of product metrics, funnels, user lifecycle stages, growth strategies, and experimentation frameworks.
• Ability to lead initiatives, mentor others, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• GitHub profile or portfolio of past projects required with the application.
