Software Development Engineer-PHP

Location: Montreal, Canada

Salary: $95,000–$130,000 CAD annual base salary or OTE

What you will do

• Shape and evolve the platform integration ecosystem as new use cases and extensibility areas are introduced.
• Architect and build systems capable of processing high volumes of transactions.
• Design, implement, and support scalable, fault-tolerant systems that minimize customer impact during failures.
• Help transition the platform toward a microservice-oriented architecture.
• Own features end to end and collaborate with specialists across infrastructure, backend, data, frontend, and delivery.

Requirements

• Written and spoken French and English.
• At least 5 years of relevant software development experience.
• Strong working knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Experience with web service technologies and building REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Experience delivering, maintaining, and supporting production-grade code and end-to-end business solutions.
• Strong product mindset and the ability to make technical trade-offs across the stack.
