Vice President, Business Development Pharma Cinq (Biopharma)

Location: Rockville, Maryland, USA. The role is performed in a traditional office environment with potential for remote work and requires up to 25% travel.

What you will do

• Develop and implement out-licensing strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Research global markets, identify potential partners, and assess the competitive landscape.
• Coordinate with technical and clinical teams to evaluate therapeutic assets for licensing opportunities.
• Represent the business at industry conferences, networking events, and partnering meetings.
• Conduct asset valuations, prepare term sheets, and lead negotiations focused on financial terms and milestones.
• Monitor out-licensed product performance and contractual obligations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or business.
• At least 15 years of experience in biopharmaceutical business development and licensing.
• Comprehensive understanding of the biopharma field and its current and future needs.
• Strong business acumen, negotiation, communication, relationship-building, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Superior competency in scientific fundamentals and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to travel as needed and manage changing priorities while meeting time-sensitive deadlines.
